BRAND NEW WEBSITE FOR SCHOOL ATHLETICS

In the past week or so, we have launched a brand new website to showcase the best of Buckinghamshire Schools student athletes and events. The site will publicise all of the forthcoming Championships and Inter School Meets. Key dates will be announced in a timely manner and very public forum with clear entry criteria and procedures.

The" Staff Room" will provide a central secure hub for PE Staff to access Entry Forms and deadlines , Affiliation details and selection procedures. They will also provide a chance to support the immense workload in organising sport at this level where volunteers are much valued and at a premium.

Over time, we hope the site will expand many more popular features including profiles of some of the many talented students who have represented the County at Regional and English Schools Champs. And then we hope to celebrate the successes of those who have gone on to Great Britain honours and even Olympic success.

We hope the driving force to all of this will be grass-roots driven, both by enthusiastic staff members and aspirational students. We invite contributions from budding student journalists, photos from track side and video clips or links to best performance examples.
