QUALIFICATION STANDARDS FOR ENGLISH SCHOOLS TRACK & FIELD ANNOUNCED

Many athletes will have been chasing up the list of Standards set for qualification for the English Schools Track & Field Champs 2025. We are happy to announce that these have been Released by he Association.

This year the Champs will once again be held at the Alexander Stadium , Birmingham - host to the Commonwealth Games 2022. Dates are Friday 11th and Saturday 12th July.

The target marks are in the column marked "Entry" highlighted in yellow.

Achieving the standard dos not automatically mean an athlete will be selected. As a County, Bucks may only enter a total of 40 athletes across all disciplines and age groups. So selection is quite competitive for what is known as the "Kids Olympics" - up to 2000 of the most talented young students from England taking part in the most important competition opportunity for youngsters.

Athletes, teachers and coaches should note quite a few changes to the marks this tyear - all marked with an asterisk on the sheet.

Full details of the Selection procedure will be announced on this site in the coming week. For Junior and Intermediate athletes, mark up Saturday 14th June in your diaries as this will be a key date in the process.
